1. What does Dessy Sportswear offer?

Dessy Sportswear specialises in custom sportswear and team apparel, including jerseys, shorts, polos, hoodies, jackets, training gear, socks and more. We work with sports teams, clubs, schools, community groups and organisations to bring their ideas to life.

2. Can you create a custom design for our team?

Absolutely. We can work with your colours, logos, sponsors and ideas to create something unique to your team. Whether you already have a design in mind or need help putting one together, we're happy to help.

3. Is there a minimum order?

Minimum order quantities may apply depending on the product. Get in touch with us with what you're looking for and we'll let you know the minimum quantity required.

4. How long do custom orders take?

Our standard turnaround time is approximately 5–6 weeks after the final design has been approved and your deposit has been received.

We recommend ordering early if your uniforms are needed for a tournament, season launch or special event.

5. How does payment work?

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order and begin production. The remaining 50% balance must be paid before the completed order is released.

6. Can I make changes after approving the design?

Once you have given final approval and production has started, changes may not be possible. Please carefully check all colours, logos, names, numbers, spelling and sizing before approving your final design.

7. What sizes do you offer?

We cater for both junior and adult sizes, with selected products available from J6 through to 7XL. Sizing can vary between products, so please check the relevant size guide before confirming your order.

8. Can we add player names and numbers?

Yes. Player names, numbers and other personalised details can be added to your uniforms. Please make sure all spelling and numbers are correct when submitting your final order.

9. Can you add our sponsors' logos?

Yes. Sponsor, club and organisation logos can be included in your design. For the best result, please provide high-quality logo files such as PDF, EPS or high-resolution PNG where possible.

10. Do the colours on screen look exactly the same in person?

We do our best to match colours as closely as possible. However, colours can appear slightly different between screens and the finished fabric. Small variations may occur during printing and manufacturing.

11. Can we reorder more uniforms later?

Yes. We can arrange repeat orders for existing designs. Minimum quantities and production timeframes may apply, so contact us with your original order details.

12. What happens if there is a problem with my order?

If something isn't right, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and clear photos of the issue. We'll review it and work with you to find the best solution.

13. Can I return or exchange custom-made items?

Because custom sportswear is made specifically for your team, personalised items generally cannot be returned or exchanged due to incorrect sizing, change of mind or details that were approved before production.

If there is a manufacturing fault or your order differs from the approved design, please contact us so we can review it.

14. Do you offer samples?

Depending on the product and order, samples may be available. Please contact us to discuss what you need.

15. Do you deliver throughout New Zealand?

Yes. We can arrange delivery throughout New Zealand. Shipping costs will depend on the size of the order and delivery location.

16. Can you help with a rush order?

If you have a tight deadline, contact us before placing your order. We'll check what may be possible, but rush orders cannot always be guaranteed.

17. When should we place our order for the season?

We recommend starting the design and ordering process well before your first game, tournament or event. This allows enough time for design approval, sizing, production and delivery without unnecessary pressure.

Dessy Sportswear is a small family business based in Māngere, Auckland, born from a love of rugby, sport and community. We're passionate about helping teams look and feel united through quality custom sportswear.
